Jeju Island, South Korea
The biggest and yet the most touristy Island of the Korean peninsula wandered once more by yours truly. YIPEE!
was supposed to travel Taiwan last year alone, but as you move closer to your travel dates, you have to pay through the nose for the tickets😭😭, so then I decided to re-route and chose the cheapest destination I could possibly afford. No regrets, though Jeju Island was still worth spending our holidays. It wasn’t my first time in this Island, ages ago, I was dotting its most popular spots with my hubby and in-laws. If you’ve never been here, YOU SHOULD GO!
This time around, I wanted to go somewhere where less crowd of people might go. My husband went searched on Naver (Korea’s version of Google) and I took advantage with Instagram. After compiling some of our chosen places, we then finally decided which and where we need to visit. While instragramming, I discovered this Swiss-inspired hotel in Jeju. The hotel’s facade designed to be somewhat a homey feels and painted with vibrant colors that stood out even from afar. The vicinity seems to be in the expansion, but this area offers some artisanal shops and cafe where you can grab some chill-out snacks.

Please take note, getting here would require you to ride a taxi or a rental car. This village is far-off from the Metro and I haven’t seen buses passing here. If you happen to ride a taxi, you can say, “Swiss Maeul gaseyo” or simply type on your GPS “스위스 마을”.
If you’ve ever been to Jeju Island or planning to visit here very soon, comment below coz I might suggest some places you should visit! 😊
