Gleaming Lights

Jinju, South Korea

A colossal lantern fiesta awaits you from the southern part of South Korea. It was my first time to attend this festival and it seemingly defines this week’s photo challenge, DENSEIt is by far the longest running lantern festival in the country that dates back during the Japanese invasion of South Korea (1592). The festival starts during every second week of October.
